Genki Japanese School is affiliated with a major university in the US, and any eligible Americans can receive academic credit towards a degree by studying with us. But even better: if you are eligible for US financial aid, you can use this financial aid to pay for your study! Details are on our Japanese study for US University Students page.
You don’t have to be currently studying at a US university to apply – even if you have just graduated high school and not yet applied for a university, you might be eligible! You would enroll in our partner university for a single semester, and they will send your academic credit to you after you finish studying Japanese with us. You of course don’t need to actually go to our partner university – we arrange all of the details. It’s very easy!
The cost of studying Japanese in Japan is often about the same as studying at a university, although of course it has the advantage of being in Japan! And being able to apply for financial aid to study Japanese makes the whole process a lot more affordable. This might be your chance to come to your new favorite Japanese school!
