Yatais are a prominent part of Fukuoka night-life. They are food-stalls that are set up on the street in Japan, usually serving quick Japanese food such as ramen, gyoza, and oden (and don`t forget the alcohol). Since they are quickly set up, the usually setting is a bunch of chairs crammed around the cook and his mobile kitchen.
