Pocket wifi rentals

In collaboration with a company called VISION, we offer pocket wifi devices at school on 3 different discounted plans:

*fees are charged on a monthly basis, even is used for less than a month.

You can pick yours up at school reception directly if we have stock available. If we are out of stock, you may have to wait 1-3 days.

Devices can be returned directly at the school or at the airport (list of airports provided together with the device).

Wifi router


If you just need a device that will convert a wired internet signal into a wireless wifi signal (for students staying at accommodations that only have LAN internet, etc), you can buy or rent a cheap router from school. Please ask at reception for more information.

Once you're done with your router, we'll buy it back from you so you don't have to lug it back with you!

SIM CARD

For students needing both internet access and a phone number in Japan, short or long-term SIM card rentals are available via services called:

  • JPSmart (regular prices)
  • Mobal (special prices in partnership with GenkiJACS*)
Your phone needs to be compatible with Japanese SIM cards, and/or needs to be unlocked in order to use these SIMs.
