Welcome to Genki Japanese and Culture School Okinawa, the newest and most exciting branch of our Japanese language school, in the heart of Japan’s tropical island paradise! Learn Japanese in the heart of Naha while refreshing your mind and body in the beautiful surrounding nature. If you’re looking for a more peaceful way of life than the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, our Okinawa branch is the one for you! And you’ll love our thrilling activity program, that provides the best of both Japanese and local culture, and offers activities you won’t find at any other Genki branch, or even any other Japanese language school!

Location
Our beautiful Okinawa school is in the biggest city in Okinawa, Naha City, and just minutes from the monorail line, for convenient access to the airport or downtown. A short monorail or bus ride takes you to Kokusai Street, the tourist center of the city, while world-class beaches and incredible tourist activities are another bus ride away. School Facilities
Our 5 spacious Japanese classrooms and student lounge all have large south-facing windows with a clear view of Okinawa’s beautiful blue sky. Classrooms are decorated in the local island style, the entrance is surrounded by tropical plants, and the lounge is a great place to brush up your Japanese. The school is a gorgeously designed open building that will inspire your studies and feel like a home away from home!

OKINAWA SCHOOL COURSES
Core Japanese course
You won’t get far in Okinawa without being able to speak the Japanese language, but using the special techniques our teachers have developed, you’ll be surprised just how easy it is to learn! Our Standard Course uses original, modern materials combined with activities based on real-world situations, improving your Japanese speaking ability in a way that gives you the flexibility to adapt to new situations. Study with us and you won’t be just studying Japanese, you’ll be actually using it in no time.
Core courseLesson system:
Two grammar lessons and two lessons focused on speaking, listening, writing or reading, every weekday. Practice what you’ve learnt at home by homework and assignments, then put that new knowledge to use the next day in our language skills practical classes.

Add any of the exciting modules below for an even more intense and intensive learning experience!

Add four extra classes each week of conversational Japanese. These extra classes focus on some of the interesting aspects of conversational Japanese such as slang, dialects, specialized vocabulary, and more.

ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS
HOMESTAY
